Indonesian seaman or offshore worker
In good mental and good health conditions
Age between 22-55 for ratings and 22-60 for officers
Minimum High School graduate and minimum one year sea service for
ratings
Merchant Marine Academy graduate and at least one year sea service for officers /engineers
International Maritime Organization (IMO) Convention standard

Selection – Interview and Psycho test (if required)
Sending the Bio data of each candidate for the Principals examination, consideration, and final approval
Medical examination (IMO standard or appointed by User)
Completing travel / assignment documents including visa
Booking air ticket or PTA (Prepaid Ticket Advice)
Departure / embarkation
Time required from selection until departure from Jakarta to Joining Vessel Port
Minimum 2 (two) working weeks. Possibly 1 (one) working week if all the seaman’s documents are still valid.
Crew Wages
There are 4 (four) categories:
ILO (International Labor Organization) standard
Indonesian Seamen's Union Standard
Total Crew Cost ITF standard

The Foreign Ship Owner, who would like to employ Indonesian Crews should make and sign the CBA, which contains the standard Individual Working Contract and other regulations, compensation, insurance, etc.
